Overview
The Straw Hat Grand Fleet (麦わら大船団, Mugiwara Dai Sendan) is a fleet formed by seven pirate crews who vowed to serve under the Straw Hat Pirates. The fleet was first introduced in the manga chapter 793 and anime episode 713, and was later expanded to include a total of eight crews in the manga chapter 904 and anime episode 860.
Origin
The Straw Hat Grand Fleet was formed after the Battle of Dressrosa, in which the Straw Hat Pirates defeated the Donquixote Pirates. After the battle, Luffy was approached by seven pirate captains who offered to join his fleet. Luffy accepted their offer and the Straw Hat Grand Fleet was born.
