Apple Announces Financial Results for Fiscal Q4 2022

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2022 fourth quarter ended September 24, 2022. The company posted record revenue of $90.15 billion, an increase of 8% year-over-year. Net income for the quarter was $20.72 billion, or $1.29 per diluted share.
Apple’s revenue growth was driven by strong demand for its iPhone, Mac, and Services segments. iPhone revenue was up 9% year-over-year to $42.63 billion, while Mac revenue grew 25% to $11.51 billion. Services revenue also increased, rising 5% to $19.19 billion.
"We are pleased to report a record September quarter, with strong double-digit growth in both products and services,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Our active installed base of devices reached an all-time high of 1.8 billion during the quarter, and we set all-time revenue records in several product categories, including iPhone, Mac, and Services.
